PBS KIDS Host Miss Rosa is coming to Southern Minnesota!
KSMQ is thrilled to welcome Miss Rosa to Minnesota on Tuesday, May 5,2009—Cinco de Mayo!
KSMQ was one of five PBS stations nationwide to receive a grant for a visit from the popular PBS KIDS host. KSMQ viewers are invited to attend two public events with Miss Rosa. There will be a “Morning Story Time with Miss Rosa” at 10:00am at the Albert Lea Public Children’s Library and Miss Rosa will also be appearing at Rochester’s Family Fun Night at Graham Arena at 6pm that evening. She is also scheduled for a private get-together with 377 kindergartners and teachers at Woodson Kindergarten Center that afternoon.
The Albert Lea and Rochester events are open to the public (note that there is a $5.00 admission charge per family at the Family Fun Night). Additionally KSMQ members are invited to an exclusive Meet and Greet with Miss Rosa following her performance in Rochester.
