KSMQ Members Enjoy “Celtic Woman – Isle of Hope” Concert in St. Paul

I was thrilled to accompany more than 40 KSMQ members to the Xcel Center in St. Paul to see “Celtic Woman – Isle of Hope” on Friday night, February 13. This was the kick-off of “Celtic Woman’s” brand new “Isle of Hope” tour and we were fortunate enough to be the very first audience for their new tour. Chloe, Lisa, Lynn, Mairead, and Alex did not disappoint with the addition of some new songs to the show like “Fields of Gold” and “True Colours”. And the girls had some spectacular new gowns.
A group of us went up to St. Paul together on the bus and I really enjoyed getting to meet everyone personally and finding out more about their favorite shows on KSMQ. It’s always fun to be with a group of people with similar interests as that’s a good starting point for conversation.
After the show, those of us who rode the bus were thankful we didn’t have to drive back ourselves since we didn’t get back to KSMQ studios untill well after midnight…exhausted but with great memories of a fabulous show. It confirmed what I already suspected…KSMQ members are NICEST people you’re ever going to meet.
Plans are now underway for a bus tour to Minneapolis on May 23 to see Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra. More information on that will be available soon.
